Amsterdam is the Netherlands' capital, known for it's artistic heritage, elaborate canal system and narrow houses with gabled facades, legacies of the city's 17th century Golden Age. Cycling is a huge part of the cities culture, there are over 400km of bike paths through the city.
We'll be staying in Oosterpark, theres tons of greenery and close to several points of interest. The park houses the National Slavery Monument which commemorates the abolition of slavery in the Netherlands in 1863. You'll likely see some Grey Herons and maybe even their nests while you're staying here.
Rijksmuseum and The Van Gough Museum are just a 15 minute tram ride away.
The Rijskmuseum is a museum dedicated to arts and history in Amsterdam. It houses works of Rembrandt and Vermeer.

Dam Square and Rembrandt Square are a 20 minute tram ride away.
Not only is the architecture amazing here but there are tons of events here throughout the year.
This used to be a dairy market, now it's known for it's nightlife, clubs, bars and cafes.
